MHS Interact Club Food Drive 2015

From the Milton Independent: This month, Milton High School recognizes the Milton Interact Club. Sponsored by the Milton/Colchester Rotary, Interact is a club for students who want to focus on community and international issues they care about. Interact students came to school eager and ready to help the Milton community and put together a food drive which benefited the Milton Family Community Center Emergency Food Shelf. Students created fliers, asked the local Hannaford to borrow grocery carts, made daily school announcements, hit social media and reached out to the homecoming opponent, Fair Haven, to spread the word about the food drive. In the cold and rain of Friday night, Milton Interact collected five Hannaford carts full of non-perishable food items, which they delivered, sorted and stacked at the food shelf. Milton High School is proud of their hard work!
