HONORING LOCAL HEROES: Colchester-Milton Rotary Announces 6th Annual Veterans Day Celebrations
MILTON / COLCHESTER — The Colchester-Milton Rotary Club has announced the return of its annual Veterans Day tribute, marking the 6th annual "Flags for Heroes" celebration on Wednesday, November 11th.
The community-wide event features two distinct regional ceremonies designed to honor local veterans, active-duty service members, and personal heroes.
Two Communities, One Mission
To ensure community members across both towns can participate, the Rotary Club will host sequential ceremonies in Milton and Colchester:
- Milton Ceremony (10:00 AM): The day’s tributes begin promptly at 10:00 AM inside the R.R. Charlebois, Inc. truck showroom, located at 950 Route 7 South in Milton. Holding the event in the spacious indoor showroom ensures a comfortable, weather-proof environment for veterans and attendees of all ages.
- Colchester Ceremony (12:00 PM / Noon): The celebration moves to Malletts Bay at noon, where a second ceremony will take place at the Colchester Recreation Center on Blakely Road.
Join the Celebration
Both ceremonies will feature formal dedications, local speakers, and moments of reflection to properly salute the sacrifices of our nation's veterans.
