The Colchester Milton Rotary Club is sponsoring a local program called "Give a Gallon" along with the local United Way Chapter.

They plan to label one gallon cans and place them in businesses around the area, asking for donations of $5.00 which is about the price of a gallon of fuel oil.  Even if people only donate a buck, it will be good.  If they can help buy even a little heating fuel to keep someone comfortable and warm this winter, instead of cold and miserable, it will be worth the effort.  The program will be kicked off at the meeting of the Colchester Milton Rotary Club on Thursday, October 16th at noon at the Hampton Inn at exit 17.  Media coverage is encouraged.
